We understand that your boat is an investment, and our custom-built boat sheds offer an unparalleled opportunity to help protect your boat from the elements. All of our sheds are clad in double-vee panels extruded from 25-gauge aluminum stock, and our designs incorporate state-of-the-art features ranging from environmentally friendly HPDE floatation blocks to remote controlled canvas rollup doors.

Our sheds provide enough storage space for you to store your kayak or dinghy off the boat, have a workbench, or use the mezzanine to stow your gear. If you want to take it a step further, we can even incorporate an “apartment” upstairs for living quarters.

Our sheds can be as unique as you need them to be.

A Tradition of Craftsmanship

The Skwxwu7mesh Uxwumixw (Squamish Nation) people believe that harvesting nature’s gifts and using them for shelter, warmth, sustenance and beauty requires specialized skills bestowed by the creator. Maritime construction has been a tradition of the Coast Salish people for millennia.

Chatwilh (canoe builders) carved a range of canoes, some of them big enough (up to 45 feet in length) and sturdy enough to withstand the rough ocean waters of the Howe Sound and Georgia Strait. Our canoes were expected to last 200 years or more with regular painting. The bigger vessels were very valuable and often given as gifts.

When your boat is protected from the effects of rain, snow, ultra violet damage, airplane fuel, airborne sulphur dioxide contaminants… and whatever else man or nature happens to throw our way, not only will a quality boat shed extend the life of your canvas, gel coat, and varnish, it also means you’ll spend less time dockside on maintenance, and more time out on the water.
